Duchess scandal

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, is in some big trouble. She was recently caught selling access to her ex-husband Andrew, the Duke of York.

A News of the World reporter posed as a wealthy businessman looking for access to Andrew, who has served as the UK's special representative for international trade and investment since 2001. The reporter secretly filmed his financial negotiations with Fergie, who wanted 500,000 pounds for her services.

"Look after me and he'll look after you. . . you'll get it back tenfold. I can open any door you want," she told him.
The film shows her accepting 40,000 pounds as a down payment of sorts.

When asked how he'll get her the rest of the money, she tells him, "You send it to the bank account that I tell you to send it to."

With it all right there on film, Fergie had no other choice but to fess up.

"I very deeply regret the situation and the embarrassment caused," she said in a statement. "It is true that my financial situation is under stress, however, that is no excuse for a serious lapse in judgment and I am very sorry that this has happened."
She went on to clear Andrew of any involvement and said he "was not aware or involved in any of the discussions that occurred."

Oh Sarah, I felt bad for you when everyone called you the "Duchess of Pork", but this time, I've got no sympathy. You did this to yourself, and now I'll never be able to sing The Noble Duke of York again to my children without thinking how un-noble the Duchess is.
